Nia opened Luster in 2016 after a decade specializing in textured hair. She cuts curls dry, curl by curl, and is happiest when a client who's been told their hair is 'difficult' leaves knowing exactly how to wash it on a Tuesday night.

Dominique is the person other stylists call for a color they're scared of. She's lifted more box-dye than she can count and plans blonding across sessions so hair actually survives the journey — expect a candid timeline at your consultation.

Precision cuts, bobs & short hair
Reese trained in a Chicago precision cutting studio and brings that architecture to blunt bobs, French crops and grown-out pixies. They also handle most of our gender-neutral and barbering-style cuts, clipper work included.
Extension & Bridal Specialist
Hand-tied extensions & event hair
Sasha handles every extension install at Luster and runs our bridal side, from the trial to the morning-of timeline. She keeps a photo file on every bride so the day-of look matches the trial exactly.
Please give 24 hours. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are billed at 50% of the service.
Color corrections, extensions and bridal services require a $50 deposit that applies to your total.
We can usually work with 10 minutes. Past that we may need to shorten or reschedule your service.
Not happy? Tell us within 7 days and we'll make it right in the chair at no charge.
Little ones are welcome when they're being serviced; otherwise our space is tight and quiet.
